Jochen BAUERREIS presentation on the future transposition of the Directive (EU) 2016/943 into German law at a conference on “The protection of trade secrets in France and Europe: a successful transposition?” which was held at the Faculty of Law, Economic Sciences and Management in Nancy on 23rd November 2018 was published on 5th June 2019.
The purpose of this contribution is to present the transposition of Directive (EU) 2016/943 by the German legislator through an analysis of the autonomous draft law on trade secrets (GeschGehG), which was given its first reading by Parliament on 11 October 2018.
